Support Clients on their Sustainability Journey

When a senior executive publicly committed on a national business news program that all frontline colleagues would receive sustainability training, the clock started ticking. No one had expected the announcement. Three weeks later, the course had to be live.

High-stakes project management and instructional design

  • Designed and built a 22-minute course in Articulate Storyline covering the bank's sustainability strategy, $50 billion sustainable finance target, and how business banking colleagues could identify opportunities

  • Worked with existing PowerPoint content from stakeholders and transformed it into an engaging learning experience

  • Created a structured review schedule with focused feedback rounds to manage a stakeholder who kept changing direction

  • Limited each review cycle to specific elements to prevent scope creep and keep the project on track

  • Delivered on time for business banking sales colleagues

What I did:

Beyond the tight timeline, the stakeholder kept going back and forth on feedback. Without structure, this could have derailed the entire project. The review schedule kept us moving forward while still incorporating necessary changes.

The outcome:

The course launched on schedule and received positive feedback from both frontline colleagues and leadership - meeting the executive's public commitment.
